Welcome to the Montreux HOA website. In an effort to provide convenient information for our homeowners we have tried to cover most FAQ’s as well as links to HOA documents, ACC request forms, and the management company website. We will be sharing information about upcoming events and meetings. If you have any suggestions, questions or concerns please send a message via the CONTACT US page.  Please check back frequently for updates and events within the community.

A REMINDER:

Trash days are on Monday and Thursday.  NO trash cans should be left out or in site any other day.  Please place cans inside your garage or completely hidden from view on non trash pickup days.  ALL trash must fit into the container.
NO trash can be left in bags next to the cans.  They will not be picked up and it attracts animals and birds.  If you have an abundant amount of trash you can request an additional container from the county to be delivered to you.  If you have boxes they must fit into the recycle container or cut down to fit inside.  Boxes, appliances, grilles, patio furniture, etc. cannot be placed at the curb.  You must arrange for these items to be hauled away or you can take them to the County dump yourself.  Yard clippings, branches, etc. will only be picked up on THURSDAYS.  DO NOT put it at the curb on Monday, leaving it there all week.
Go to the FAQ link for the County website regarding solid waste.

The County Commissioners voted NO to the Keystone community plan amendments  submitted by the developer on Lutz Lake Fern Road at the borrow pit. It took several years and a lot of hard work and attendance at all of the meetings by concerned Keystone/Odessa residents to finally have the Keystone community plans kept in place as they were written.

Pet Owners – Unfortunately, there have been complaints that several unleashed dogs on their homeowner’s property are leaving the property and are chasing after bicycle riders, walkers, and runners who are on the sidewalks and street.  Recently, a bicycle rider fell off of his bicycle and onto the street after being charged at by an unleashed dog that came into the street after him.   Unleashed dogs are acceptable in our community as long as they are supervised and stay on your property and do not go onto the sidewalk or street to bark or chase after someone.  If your dog does not stay with you on your property, please use a leash.

As per the Hillsborough County Animal Control Ordinance:  “In order for a dog or cat to be allowed on a public street, road, park or other public property, excluding public right-of-way on an owner’s private property or unless otherwise specifically permitted, the dog or cat shall be under the direct control of the owner or keeper, except while hunting pursuant to permit or during a legitimate obedience demonstration, show, trial, training exercise, competition, show and/or match or educational program, so long as proper precautions are taken by the owner of the dog and/or sponsor of the event to ensure the safety and protection of both the public and other animals.”
